It serves as a multi-functional hands-on teaching space, providing a "hands-on" training ground for courses such as aircraft system and fuselage structure repair, and turbine engine maintenance, cultivating readily available aviation maintenance technicians.

The SVH-4 is a fully operational training helicopter that provides a flight mode that allows students to experience real helicopter flight operations in conjunction with flight experience courses.
